ResurFX is a comfortable in-office treatment. Most people achieve the best results with a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart.

Before Treatment:
Your provider will cleanse your skin and may apply a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable during treatment.

During Treatment
The laser is passed over the treatment area in a precise pattern. Built-in cooling helps keep the skin comfortable, and most patients feel a warm, prickling sensation.

Treatment time depends on the area, but most sessions take about 30 minutes, plus extra time if numbing cream is used. Ask your provider for an estimate so you can plan your visit.

After Treatment
‍Redness and mild swelling, similar to a sunburn, are common and usually settle within a few days. Most people return to normal activities right away. Gentle skincare and daily sunscreen are important while your skin heals.
